The overall goal of this study was to assess nutrients lost through wastewater in Delhi, India and their recovery potential, mapping the current nutrient recovery, recycling, and reuse practices in Delhi against available options, technologies, and best practices. This project was aimed at preventing the eutrophication of three major lakes in and around the city of New Delhi and also saw the involvement of several stakeholders in an engagement workshop to discuss the findings from the study with relevant stakeholders, universities and members from the government. The study has been conceptualized in following objectives:
